Vít Mádr

He was born in 1959 in Brno.

He studied painting techniques with prof. Petr Skácel at the People's Conservatory in Brno and basic and postgraduate studies at the Institute of Fine Art Photography (today the Institute of Creative Photography at the Silesian University in Opava).

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Technical University in  Brno.

He is a member of the Association of Professional Photographers, TT-club Brno and the Union of Fine Artists of the Czech Republic.

As early as the end of the 1980s, he began selling his paintings through the then Dílo company  in 1988 he obtained a license to operate a photographic trade. He switched to freelance in the spring of 1989 and began to devote himself fully to painting, art and modeling photography, later mainly advertising photography.

In his professional work, he deals with a wide range of advertising photography - from product photography, where culinary photography dominates, through photography of furniture and interiors and exteriors, to life-style, fashion and modeling photography.

His clients include advertising agencies and many companies.

He is engaged in teaching, lecturing on various topics of photographic practice - see  www.fotoskola.madr.cz.

He also deals with free creation. He exhibits and sells his work. It is represented in  numerous private collections not only in  The Czech Republic, but all over the world.

He lives and works in  Brno, but travels throughout the country for work.
